About Us
Garbera Enterprise Limited was inevitable and finally sprung to life in January 2009. Even though I am training to become a doctor, the entrepreneur inside me has never gone away. He was always there, just under the surface, constantly nagging at me to start something new, to once again feel the excitement and exhilaration of taking a risk with a brand new venture. No matter how much I tried to block him out or sidetrack him with my ever-increasing medical knowledge he would not be appeased. Until now that is. 'Smilers' has finally shut him up.
Having produced the first book I wanted to publish it. I didn't have the time or the inclination to hawk the book around the numerous publishers so I took the obvious next step - publish it myself. As a result I set up a new company, Garbera Enterprise Limited, to publish and distribute 'Smilers', although everything was much easier the second time round, including obtaining a business bank account.
I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process of setting up the company. However, the idea of being solely responsible for the success or failure of my new business was truly electrifying and took me right back to the early days of KH Smilers.
